TxDOT hosting public meeting to share future plans for rural transporation

Meeting will discuss the 2019-2022 Rural Transporation Improvement Plan

Abilene, TX  79601


ABILENE - The TxDOT Abilene district will conduct a public meeting to provide information concerning the rural protions of the district including Borden, Callahan, Jones, Kent, Shackelford, Taylor, Howard, Nolan, Mitchell, Scurry, Haskell, Fisher, and Stonewall counties.  The Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) is the mechanism used by TxDOT and FHWA to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally and state funded projects.  The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.

The proposed TIP may be viewed at the District Office at 4250 N. Clack St. Abilene, TX  79601 prior to the meeting.
