Let’s Move Texas Freight

Reminder – Workshop Coming to a City Near You

We are updating the Texas Freight Mobility Plan to meet new federal requirements and we need to hear from you!
The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a series of freight workshops across the state to hear from public and private sector stakeholders. The goal is to gain input on freight transportation needs, trends, challenges and opportunities from those who know the system best. We are looking for representation from air cargo, shippers, receivers, rail, ports, trucking, energy manufacturing, retail agriculture, pipelines, freight forwarders, transporters, individuals or organizations involved in freight movement, and the general public throughout the state.

Please join us at the upcoming workshop in Midland/Odessa!

Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
University of Texas of the Permian Basin, CEED Auditorium
1310 North FM 1788
Midland, Texas 79707

Your input matters. At these workshops, we will:
ü  Provide an overview of the existing Freight Mobility Plan
ü  Discuss the new federal requirements for the freight plan update
ü  Gather your input on the key freight issues, needs and challenges in your region and across the state

If you have not already registered for a workshop, you may do so at www.MoveTexasFreight.com. Further information on meeting dates, times, and locations is available online.
